We are looking for a reliable farm hand to assist through the irrigation, planting, and general farm work. This role suits someone practical who enjoys variety and can work both in a team and on their own.
The role
- Assist with syphon irrigation, planting, and general farm duties
- Day to day tasks will vary across dryland and irrigated farming
- Operating and working around good John Deere machinery
What we are looking for
- Previous irrigation, planting, or general farming experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude with some welding skills is desirable
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Driver’s licence, reliable vehicle, and work related references required
Other details
- Role will start casual with the potential to move into full-time
- Single accommodation available
- Pig dogs, and indoor cats are not permitted
