This is a full-time, ongoing position and is not suitable for Working Holiday Visa Holders.
This position suits someone who enjoys variety and responsibility, with time split across cattle work, machinery operation, and property improvements.
The Role
You will be involved across all aspects of the operation, including:
Cattle & Livestock Duties
- Feeding, inductions, trucking, and mustering backgrounding country
- Working within a small on-farm feedlot
- Pen walking (no horses used)
- Supporting daily livestock operations using machinery where required
Machinery, Cropping & Infrastructure
- Operating modern John Deere machinery
- Assisting with dryland and irrigated cropping for silage
- General farm and infrastructure maintenance
- Building and maintaining cattle yards and fencing
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a true all-rounder with practical skills
- Is mechanically minded and confident welding or jumping on machinery
- Has cattle experience, with cropping exposure viewed favourably
- Works well in a team but is equally confident working independently
- Communicates clearly and presents well
- Takes pride in their work, home, and surroundings
