We’re looking for Pen Riders/Livestock People to join a well-run feedlot near Dalby. Feedlot experience is fantastic, however, not essential. If you’ve got the drive, attitude and work ethic, and can work well as part of a team, we’re willing to train you.
The Role
- Pen riding, livestock movements, drafting, induction, processing and hospital treatments
- Monitoring cattle health, identifying issues early and administering treatments
- Maintaining records using feedlot systems
- Working within company procedures and protocols
- Operating in line with low-stress stock handling principles
- Working safely and in line with WHS requirements
What They’re Looking For
- Great attitude and takes pride in their work
- Enjoys working in a team environment and is a genuine team player
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Good communication skills
Horses
- Ideally, 2 horses
- If you don’t have horses, we’ve got you covered – plant horses available
- Horse and tack allowance provided
- Feed & farrier services
