An opportunity is available for an experienced Farm Hand to join a large-scale, family-owned irrigated cotton and dryland cropping business in Central Queensland, near Emerald.

This business is well set up with a modern and extensive fleet of tractors, sprayers, planters, and harvesting equipment. If you are a John Deere person, you will feel right at home because they definitely bleed green and take pride in running quality gear. They are also big on innovation and are always looking at better, smarter ways to operate and improve efficiencies across the farm.

They have worked hard to build a positive mindset around WHS and are proud of the responsible workplace culture they operate. Their commitment to the cotton myBMP program reflects their strong focus on safety, with policies and procedures built into everyday operations. Staff training is also a priority, with regular training days and recent investment in Heavy Combination truck licences, pilot vehicle accreditation, chemical spray operator training, and first aid.

This role would suit someone with previous cropping experience who is looking for a long-term opportunity with a business that genuinely values loyalty and commitment. Staff retention is important to them, and they are proud of the workplace they have built, one that encourages, rewards, and supports people who want to stay for the long haul.
