Our client is seeking an experienced Grader Operator to join their cattle station operation near Tambo, Queensland. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining station infrastructure and operating machinery safely and efficiently.

This is your typical operating position within a large-scale cattle station environment, working across property roads, firebreaks, fence lines and general station maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintenance grading and light formation of main property roads
• Grading of firebreaks and fence lines
• Sheeting roads and pads with gravel
• Preparing and digging trenches for poly pipe laying
• Conducting general property observations while operating machinery and reporting any issues to management, including livestock health concerns or damaged fencing
• General machinery care, servicing and maintenance

Requirements:
• Previous grader operating experience is essential
• Experience handling grass and cutting flat bottom drains
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to complete daily pre-start checks and maintain service records
• Current and valid driver’s licence
• Experience operating a dozer, scraper or loader will be highly regarded
• Mechanically minded with the ability to carry out basic servicing and maintenance

• Applicants must be physically capable of carrying out the inherent requirements of the role and working within a remote station environment
• Ability to meet standard pre-employment requirements where applicable
