A family-run mixed farming enterprise in the Edgeroi / Narrabri region, New South Wales, is looking for a reliable and hands-on Farm Hand to join the team.
This is a long-term casual role offering approximately 3 to 4 days per week, with additional hours available during peak periods such as planting and harvest. The role would suit someone fit, active, and happy to get involved across all areas of the operation.
The operation runs John Deere machinery and includes a mixed farming program with broadacre farming and a couple of hundred head of breeding cows, offering plenty of variety in the role.
Duties Include:
- Farm duties
- Tractor operations
- Irrigation work
- Cattle handling and livestock work
- Mechanical maintenance
- Farm maintenance and fencing
Ideally, You Will Have:
- Previous farming experience
- Confidence operating machinery
- A good work ethic and practical attitude
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Driver’s licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Farm related references
A refurbished 2-bedroom cottage may also be available on one of the farms, conveniently located close by.
