A cattle station in the Katherine region of the Northern Territory is seeking a reliable and motivated Station Hand to join the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys station life and wants to be involved in all aspects of a working cattle operation.
Accommodation and meals are provided, meaning the only thing you’ll need to pay for is your hobbies and personal expenses.
Duties Include:
- Feeding cattle
- Cattle handling and stock work
- Mustering using motorbikes
- Animal husbandry tasks
- Fencing and general station maintenance
- Checking waters
- Repairing and maintaining water infrastructure
- Fixing pipes and troughs
- General repairs and maintenance around the station
- Working as part of a team across day-to-day station operations
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- Previous cattle experience
- Confidence riding a motorbike in a station environment
- A strong work ethic and practical attitude
- Ability to work well within a team
- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Solid recent work references
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn
