We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Station Hand to join our team on a well-run family property located between Blackall and Tambo, QLD. This is not a trainee role – applicants must have a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar position and be ready to hit the ground running.
About the Role: This is a hands-on position offering a variety of station work in a supportive, close-knit environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cattle work (approx. 4–5 months/year, depending on the season), including mustering, branding, and yard work
- Fencing and water infrastructure maintenance & repairs
- Machinery operation (grader, loader, bobcat)
- 50/50 motorbike and horse mustering

Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 12 months station experience
- Strong work ethic, initiative, and reliability
- Confident working with both horses and motorbikes
- Basic skills in fencing, plumbing, and general station maintenance
- Able to follow direction and also work independently
- Happy to work in a small team environment
- Positive attitude and genuine interest in station life
