We are seeking a reliable and motivated Feedlot Hand to join a family-owned mixed farming business located near Dalby, QLD. The business runs grain and cotton production alongside a 3000-head feedlot and cattle breeding/backgrounding enterprise.

About the Role:

  • 10 days on, 4 days off roster.
  • You’ll have 6 days working alongside another team member, helping tackle the more challenging tasks — so there’s no need to worry about being left to manage alone.
  • Reporting directly to the owner and feedlot manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating grain processing equipment.
  • Mixing and delivering feed.
  • Managing feed bunks and monitoring cattle health.
  • Livestock handling and yard work.
  • General maintenance across the feedlot.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with cattle and in feedlot environments.
  • Strong machinery operation skills and a safe approach to plant use.
  • Practical hands-on skills and a willingness to learn.
  • A manual driver’s licence is essential.
