We are seeking a dedicated Feedmill Hand for a long-term position at our client’s progressive feedlot, based outside of Dalby, Queensland. This role is primarily focused on feeding, with responsibilities including the precise mixing of feed ratios for cattle. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to carry out various other duties within the feedlot as needed, showcasing adaptability and comprehensive cattleman skills.
Key requirements for this role include:
- A valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle.
- Proven feedlot experience.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and autonomously.
- Willingness to carry out some weekend work and other duties as required.
- Experience in all facets of feedlot operations, especially feeding.
- Work related references.
- Ability to work in collaboration with the owners and their team.
