If you’re going to spend five days a week in a truck, it may as well be a good one.

We’re looking for an experienced MC Truck Driver to join a farming operation in the Goondiwindi region, driving a brand-new Kenworth T909 set up with a 50-inch bunk, fridge, microwave, and Starlink.

This is a full-time, ongoing position working around the seasonal demands of the farming operation. During harvest, hours will increase as required, so flexibility during these peak periods is important. Outside of the busy seasonal periods, the position generally operates five days a week.

The role will primarily involve carting grain, pulses and fertiliser between the Goondiwindi region, Darling Downs and Brisbane, with a bit of machinery carting from time to time.

You don’t necessarily need to be based in Goondiwindi either, with flexibility around where the truck starts and finishes the working week.

Who We’re Looking For

We want an experienced driver who communicates well, can work independently and gets in and gets the job done.

The T909 will effectively be your home during the working week, so taking pride in your gear is important. We’re looking for someone who will keep the truck clean, tidy and look after it like it’s their own.

You will need:

  • Current MC licence
  • Proven MC driving experience
  • Good driving record
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliability and the ability to work independently
  • Flexibility during harvest and peak seasonal periods
  • A clean and tidy approach to the truck and equipment
  • Recent, relevant work references

Pay

Pay rate will depend on experience and will be discussed with suitable applicants.
