Our family-run feedlot and farming business in the Dalby District is seeking a qualified mechanic or an experienced bush mechanic to join our team.

In this critical role, you’ll maintain and repair a wide range of machinery, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

What We Offer:

  • Remuneration: $80,000 – $110,000 (based on experience and qualifications).
  • Accommodation: 2-bedroom, air-conditioned housing provided off-site, with electricity included. A work truck is also provided.
  • Work-Life Balance: Monday to Friday schedule with extra hours available for those who love to work. During peak times, you may need to assist the team to ensure operations run smoothly, which could include weekend call-outs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair farm machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Be the go-to person for all mechanical needs, handling tasks with confidence and precision.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage workloads and meet deadlines, especially during peak times.
  • Adhering to workplace health and safety standards.
  • Take ownership of the workshop, ensuring it is well-organized and fully operational.

  • Licence: A full driver’s licence is required to travel between properties.
