A well-managed, family-run breeding and backgrounding operation near Clermont is seeking a keen and capable Station Hand to join the team.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys station life, works well in a team, and takes pride in doing the job properly. The property relies primarily on horses for mustering, so confident riding skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, trucking, and processing cattle in the yards
  • Fencing and infrastructure repairs
  • General station and property maintenance
  • Operating vehicles and machinery
  • Supplement feeding and water runs
  • Safe work practices and personal responsibility for safety
  • Occasional use of motorbikes

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong horse-riding skills and experience
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Willing to pitch in across all aspects of station life
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and positive attitude
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Q Fever vaccination (or willing to obtain)

What’s On Offer:

  • Work as part of a good crew on a large, well-organised property
  • Horse-focused mustering (minimal bikes)
  • Shared accommodation provided
  • Active, outdoor work in the heart of Queensland’s grazing country

If you’re confident with horses, enjoy station work, and want to be part of a solid team, we’d love to hear from you.
