We’re looking for a capable and motivated all-rounder to join a mixed farming and cattle operation, outside of Katherine in the Northern Territory. This is a hands-on, varied role working with a small team across both livestock and cropping.
About the Role:
This position involves a mix of practical day-to-day tasks. You’ll be expected to work both independently and alongside other experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a large Brahman herd, covering all stock-related duties
- Feeding and supplementary feeding
- General station duties including fencing and maintenance
- Operating tractors and a John Deere self-propelled boom spray
- Silage and hay work – cutting, baling, and feeding out
- Utilising quads and two-wheelers across the station
- Supporting seasonal farm operations as required
What You’ll Need:
- Previous spraying experience – machine-savvy and confident
- Solid general experience across both livestock and farming
- A positive, reliable attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Driver’s licence and own vehicle
- Strong references
