Our family-run feedlot and farming business is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join us as a Mechanic. In this vital role, you will be essential to our daily operations, maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Remuneration: $80,000 – $110,00 (Depending on skillset and experience)
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair plant and equipment to guarantee safe and efficient operations.
- Be the go-to person for all mechanical-related tasks, working on a range of machinery.
- Ensure a safe work environment by identifying and reporting safety hazards and following established procedures.
- Work independently or within a small team to meet deadlines, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with farm machinery and agricultural equipment.
- Proficiency in fault finding and diagnostic procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team.
- Full driver’s licence to travel between properties within the Dalby District.
