Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the care and handling of livestock within the feedlot.
- Monitoring and ensuring the welfare of cattle.
- Participating in mustering, drafting, and cattle movement activities.
- Contributing to general feedlot maintenance tasks.
- Working closely with the team to accomplish operational objectives.
- Upholding safety protocols for a secure working environment.
Requirements:
- Ownership of horses for effective livestock handling (essential).
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- Genuine passion for the cattle industry and dedication to animal welfare.
- Commitment to upholding safety practices.
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Possession of a valid driver’s licence.
